Best KitchenAid Mixer Black Friday Deals 2026

KitchenAid mixer Black Friday deals on the Artisan, Classic, Mini, bowl-lift and hand mixers, each checked against what it actually sold for on Amazon.

By Ed HollinghurstUpdated October 27, 2026

A month before Black Friday, most KitchenAid stand mixers on Amazon cost more than their recent selling prices. The exception is the Empire Red 7-quart bowl-lift, about $45 under its recent typical price and level with its lowest price of the past year. The KHM512 and KHM926 hand mixers are also a little under their usual prices. Last November the Artisan and Artisan Mini each sold for about $150 less than they cost now, so a Black Friday price needs to beat today's by a wide margin.

We checked every price against what each mixer sold for on Amazon over the past 90 days and its lowest price of the past year, not the list price.

Our picks

#1Best overall

KitchenAid Artisan 5-Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer KSM150PS, Contour Silver

by KitchenAid

The Artisan is the mixer most people mean when they say "a KitchenAid," and it is the one we would buy. Tom's Guide ranks it the best stand mixer overall and found it fast and quiet. Unlike the Classic below, it has a handled bowl, a pouring shield and dozens of colors. America's Test Kitchen (ATK) points out that it holds about the same usable volume as the Classic, so pay the difference only if those extras matter to you.

The newer Artisan Plus adds a bowl light and half speed, but it is not sold on Amazon, and ATK found it performs about the same.

This is not a deal yet. At about $500 from Amazon, the Contour Silver Artisan costs roughly $50 more than its 90-day typical price, and it sold for about $350 in mid-November last year. Amazon prices each color separately, so check the color selector.

Pros

  • 5-quart bowl with a handle, plus a pouring shield
  • Quiet in Tom's Guide testing, at 77 dB whipping cream
  • Adjustable beater height
  • Sold in more than 30 colors

Cons

  • About 3 usable quarts in ATK's measurements
  • Coated paddle and dough hook can chip over time
  • Hesitated on stiff bagel dough in ATK testing
  • Tilt head needs clearance under wall cabinets

#2

KitchenAid Classic 4.5-Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer K45SS, White

by KitchenAid

ATK names the Classic its best mid-priced mixer, and its testing gives the Artisan little edge: the Classic handled a double batch of pizza dough and held a little more usable volume. It is the full-size KitchenAid for buyers who care about results more than looks.

What you give up is the bowl handle, a pouring shield and color choice, since it comes in white or black only. Tom's Guide calls it a good buy for new bakers and flags the same missing handle and shield. ATK did break its tilt head in an abuse test well beyond normal use.

It is not discounted right now. At about $400 from Amazon, the Classic sits nearly $40 above its 90-day typical price, though still about $100 under the Artisan. It fell to $279 at the end of October last year, and that is the number to watch for.

Pros

  • Kept pace with the Artisan in ATK's tests, double batch of pizza dough included
  • About 3.25 usable quarts, slightly more than the Artisan
  • Adjustable beater height
  • Same attachment hub as every KitchenAid stand mixer

Cons

  • Bowl has no handle
  • No pouring shield in the box
  • Coated paddle and dough hook
  • Only two colors

#3

KitchenAid Artisan Mini 3.5-Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer, Cast Iron Black

by KitchenAid

The Mini is ATK's best small stand mixer. It aced nearly every test, its controls are easy to read, and it is smaller and lighter than the full-size tilt-heads, which suits apartment kitchens and anyone who bakes a dozen cookies at a time rather than four dozen.

Skip it if you make bread. ATK measured about 1.9 usable quarts, too little for double batches, and the Mini lacked the torque for a sticky, high-hydration pizza dough. A full-size Classic costs less right now and holds more.

At about $450 from Amazon, the Mini is about $34 over its 90-day typical price. It sold for about $300 the day before Thanksgiving last year, so we would wait for Black Friday week.

Pros

  • Smaller and lighter than the full-size tilt-heads
  • Aced nearly every test in ATK's lineup
  • Easy controls in ATK testing
  • Takes the same hub attachments as the bigger models

Cons

  • About 1.9 usable quarts, too small for double batches
  • Lacked torque for sticky, high-hydration pizza dough
  • Bowl has no handle
  • Cannot use KitchenAid's ice cream maker bowl

#4Best budget

KitchenAid 5-Speed Ultra Power Hand Mixer KHM512, Empire Red

by KitchenAid

$44.99$59.9925% off
View on Amazon

This is a hand mixer, not a stand mixer, and it earns the budget badge because it is the cheapest KitchenAid we would buy. ATK found its slider controls easy and its first speed genuinely low, which keeps flour in the bowl. It covers cake batter, frosting, mashed potatoes and whipped cream, and it fits in a drawer. It also has more Amazon ratings than any other KitchenAid mixer we checked.

It comes with beaters only, so it is no help with bread dough. Stand mixer shoppers on a budget should look at the Classic at rank 2.

At about $45 from Amazon, it is roughly $7 under its 90-day typical price. That is a modest cut: it dropped to about $34 in early November last year.

Pros

  • A low first speed that limits splatter
  • Simple slider speed control
  • More than 28,000 Amazon ratings, averaging 4.6 stars

Cons

  • Beaters only, with no dough hooks or whisk
  • Five speeds, fewer than KitchenAid's pricier hand mixers

#5

KitchenAid 5.5-Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer KSM55, Porcelain White

by KitchenAid

The 5.5-quart is the least expensive KitchenAid bowl-lift, and the step to take if you bake bread every week. The bowl locks onto arms that raise it to the beater, so the mixer stays planted under stiff dough, and KitchenAid rates it for about 7 lb of dough per batch. The Kitchn recommends it for frequent bread bakers and likes the half speed for folding.

The catch is size. Worthy's owner review puts it at 27.5 lb, so it needs a permanent home on the counter, and some owners find the lift lever awkward. We found no full lab test of it yet, which is why it sits below the tilt-heads.

At about $500 from Amazon, it is roughly $50 over its 90-day typical price. It sold for under $300 in late June, so this is not the time to buy.

Pros

  • Bowl-lift frame stays steady under heavy dough
  • KitchenAid rates it for about 7 lb of bread dough per batch
  • Half speed for folding in ingredients
  • Fits under most wall cabinets

Cons

  • Heavy at 27.5 lb
  • Needs a permanent spot on the counter
  • Bowl-lift lever feels awkward to some owners
  • No full lab test from a major reviewer yet

#6Best premium

KitchenAid 7-Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer KSM70SKXX, Empire Red

by KitchenAid

$529.99$649.9918% off
View on Amazon

For big families and serious bread bakers, this is the KitchenAid to get. ATK, testing its KSM70SNDX refresh, liked it more than any other model, and it kept going through 12 extra batches of bread dough. Its stainless tools are uncoated, so they will not chip, and it adds a half speed. CNET names it the best large stand mixer.

It is more machine than most kitchens need, at more than 25 lb, and Tom's Guide wanted a second bowl handle. Its Amazon owner rating is also the lowest of our stand mixers, and some owners report that the bowl is hard to remove.

This is the one clear deal among the stand mixers. At about $530 from Amazon, the Empire Red version is roughly $45 under its 90-day typical price and level with its lowest of the past year. The Cast Iron Black version was about $120 more when we checked.

Pros

  • About 5.25 usable quarts, the most of any KitchenAid here
  • Uncoated stainless steel tools that will not chip
  • Half speed for folding in ingredients
  • Handled 12 extra batches of bread dough in ATK testing

Cons

  • Heavy at more than 25 lb
  • Bowl has only one handle
  • Lowest Amazon owner rating of our stand mixers
  • Bigger than most households need

#7

KitchenAid 9-Speed Hand Mixer KHM926, Contour Silver

by KitchenAid

$84.95$114.9926% off
View on Amazon

The KHM926 is the hand mixer for people who will not give counter space to a stand mixer but want more than beaters. Homes & Gardens tested it and named it the best multitasking corded hand mixer. It has nine speeds with a slow start, a digital display, a button that ejects the beaters, and dough hooks and a blending rod in the box.

The dough hooks suit soft doughs; some owners say they struggle with heavy bread dough, which is still a job for a stand mixer. If you only whip and beat, the KHM512 at rank 4 does that for about half the price.

At about $85 from Amazon, it is roughly $10 under its 90-day typical price and within a dollar of its lowest price of the past year.

Pros

  • Nine speeds with a slow start
  • Digital speed display
  • Dough hooks and a blending rod in the box
  • Lockable swivel cord and a beater eject button

Cons

  • Dough hooks strain on heavy bread dough, some owners say
  • Corded

#8

KitchenAid Go Cordless Hand Mixer KHMR762 (Battery Included)

by KitchenAid

The Go Cordless is for kitchens where the outlet is never where you need it, or for whipping cream at the table. It runs on a removable 12V battery that KitchenAid rates for about 60 minutes, and the same battery fits KitchenAid's other Go cordless tools. Homes & Gardens named KitchenAid's earlier cordless hand mixer its best overall, and Taste of Home found a KitchenAid cordless model kept up with corded rivals.

That review evidence mostly covers the older model, and we found no full lab test of the Go version, which keeps it last here.

It is not a deal right now. At about $140 from Amazon, it costs roughly $18 more than its 90-day typical price. It fell to about $85 on Cyber Monday last year, and we would wait for a price near that.

Pros

  • No cord, so it works away from an outlet
  • Removable 12V battery rated for about 60 minutes
  • Battery fits KitchenAid's other Go cordless tools

Cons

  • Battery needs charging before a baking session
  • No full lab test of this model yet
  • Most review evidence covers KitchenAid's older cordless mixer

How to choose a KitchenAid mixer this Black Friday

Size for what you bake, not the number on the bowl. ATK found each KitchenAid holds 1.25 to 2 quarts less than its label. The 5-quart Artisan and 4.5-quart Classic suit most households; the 7-quart is for doubled bread and cookie recipes.

Pick a bowl-lift only if you bake bread often. Bowl-lifts stay steadier under stiff dough and slide under wall cabinets, but they weigh more than 25 lb and rarely leave the counter. A tilt-head is lighter and easier to scrape and load.

Consider a hand mixer if you mostly make batters and frosting. The KHM512, KHM926 and Go Cordless cost a fraction of a stand mixer and fit in a drawer. None of them replaces a stand mixer for bread.

Ignore the list price and check every color. KitchenAid list prices are numbers few people pay, so judge a deal by the 90-day typical price and 12-month low in each Pick. Amazon prices each color separately, and the same mixer can differ by more than $100 between colors.

Check the seller and the return window. Buy from listings sold by Amazon or KitchenAid where you can, since some colors were sold only by third-party sellers when we checked. Amazon usually extends holiday returns, but confirm the date on your order page.

KitchenAid Mixer Black Friday FAQ

When do KitchenAid mixer Black Friday deals start in 2026?

Expect them in the week before Thanksgiving. Black Friday is November 27 and Cyber Monday is November 30. Last year KitchenAid's own sale began on November 17, according to Blacker Friday, and Tom's Guide saw Amazon match the Artisan's Black Friday price from about November 20. When we checked in late October, most stand mixers here were above their recent selling prices.

Is Black Friday the cheapest time to buy a KitchenAid stand mixer?

Usually, but not always. The Artisan and Mini we track hit their lowest prices of the past year in mid and late November, and the Classic was cheapest at the end of October. The 5.5-quart bowl-lift was cheapest in late June, and one Artisan color fell under $300 in early October, around Prime Big Deal Days. Compare a Black Friday price with the 12-month low we quote in each Pick.

What is the difference between the KitchenAid Artisan and the Classic?

The Artisan adds a bowl handle, a pouring shield, slightly more power and far more colors. America's Test Kitchen found the two about equal on usable capacity and performance, and the Classic is about $100 less as we checked. If you can live without the handle and the colors, the Classic is the better value.

Should I get a tilt-head or a bowl-lift KitchenAid?

Get a bowl-lift if you bake bread often or make big batches; get a tilt-head for everything else. Bowl-lifts like the 5.5-quart and 7-quart hold steadier under heavy dough and fit under wall cabinets, but they weigh more than 25 lb. Tilt-heads are lighter and make it easier to reach into the bowl.

What size KitchenAid mixer do I need?

A 5-quart covers most households. America's Test Kitchen found that usable capacity runs 1.25 to 2 quarts below the label: about 3 quarts in the Artisan, 3.25 in the Classic, 1.9 in the Mini and 5.25 in the 7-quart bowl-lift. Pick the 7-quart only if you regularly double bread or cookie recipes.

Should I wait for the KitchenAid Artisan Plus?

Not unless you want its extras. The Artisan Plus adds a bowl light, half speed, a slow start and stainless tools for a $599 list price, but America's Test Kitchen found it performs on par with the original Artisan. It was not sold on Amazon when we checked, so it is not on this list.

Do KitchenAid attachments fit every KitchenAid mixer?

Yes, the hub attachments such as the pasta roller and meat grinder fit every current KitchenAid stand mixer, the Mini included. The exception is the ice cream maker bowl, which does not fit the Artisan Mini.

How we chose these kitchenaid mixer deals

Every deal on this page was selected and checked by Ed Hollinghurst. A deal only makes the cut if the product is genuinely good and the discount is real.
