Most Milwaukee tools on Amazon cost about what they have sold for since summer. Two are already cheaper: the M18 tire inflator is about $33 under its 90-day average, and the M18 FUEL compact impact wrench is near its lowest price of the past year.
We checked every price against its 90-day average and 12-month low on Amazon, not the list price. One caution: Milwaukee does not sell on Amazon and Amazon is not an authorized Milwaukee dealer. Every Pick except the SURGE driver came from a third-party seller when we checked, and warranty claims can be harder as a result. Home Depot is an authorized dealer and runs its own Milwaukee promotions.

Milwaukee M12 FUEL 2-Tool Combo Kit
by Milwaukee
This is the Milwaukee kit most people should buy, as a gift or as a first cordless set. Pro Tool Reviews found the current M12 FUEL hammer drill has the most torque of any 12V drill it has tested and named the M12 FUEL impact driver its best 12V impact, and both are small enough for a kitchen drawer. The same batteries run the ratchet and SURGE driver below. Amazon's listing title does not give a model number, so confirm the listing shows 3497-22, the current kit, before you order.
Skip it if you plan to build a deck or bore large holes in framing; M18 is the better platform for that.
This is not a deal yet. At about $215 it costs a couple of dollars more than its 90-day average, and it fell to about $150 in early November last year. That is the price to wait for.
Pros
- +Hammer drill and impact driver that top Pro Tool Reviews' 12V tests
- +Two batteries, charger and bag in the box
- +Short enough for cabinets, closets and engine bays
- +Batteries also run the M12 ratchet and SURGE driver
Cons
- −Short of M18 power for large bits and decking
- −Batteries do not fit M18 tools
- Platform
- M12 FUEL
- Tool
- 1/2-in. hammer drill and 1/4-in. impact driver

Milwaukee M18 FUEL SAWZALL 2821-20 (Tool Only)
by Milwaukee
The M18 FUEL Sawzall is in every Amazon Milwaukee deal list we read from this year, as is the ratchet kit below, and it earns the attention. Bob Vila's testers called the previous M18 FUEL Sawzall the clear winner of their reciprocating saw test, and HomeFixated found this one keeps up with a corded saw. For demolition, pruning and cutting pipe, it is the second M18 tool we would own after a drill.
It is a bare tool. If you have no M18 batteries, add the HIGH OUTPUT pack below, which suits a saw's heavy draw.
At $178 it is only about $3 under its 90-day average. It sold for about $110 in March, so Black Friday has plenty of room for a real cut.
Pros
- +Keeps pace with a corded saw in HomeFixated's testing
- +1-1/4-in. stroke at up to 3,000 strokes per minute
- +Runs on any M18 battery
Cons
- −Heavy, about 6.8 lb before the battery
- −No battery or charger in the box
- Platform
- M18 FUEL

Milwaukee M12 FUEL 3/8-in. High Speed Ratchet Kit 2567-22
by Milwaukee
For anyone who works on cars, this is the Milwaukee tool that saves the most time. Pro Tool Reviews scored it 9.6 out of 10 and judged it built for high-volume work: once a bolt is loose, the ratchet runs it out at up to 450 rpm while your wrist rests. The kit includes two M12 batteries and a charger, so it works as a gift for someone with no Milwaukee tools.
Its 35 ft-lb is modest. Break stubborn fasteners loose with a breaker bar or the impact wrench below first. Reviewers also found the handle thick where the battery sits.
This one is not discounted. At about $272 it is roughly $14 over its 90-day average, and it sold for about $219 in late February.
Pros
- +Scored 9.6 out of 10 from Pro Tool Reviews
- +Spins loose bolts off at up to 450 rpm
- +Two batteries, charger and bag in the box
Cons
- −35 ft-lb will not break stuck fasteners loose
- −Handle is thick around the battery
- Platform
- M12 FUEL
- Tool

Milwaukee M18 FUEL 3/8-in. Compact Impact Wrench 2854-20 (Tool Only)
by Milwaukee
The compact 3/8-inch wrench is the M18 tool that wins over people outside the trades. It puts 250 ft-lb into a body under 5 inches long, so it reaches suspension bolts and engine bay fasteners a full-size gun cannot. Tool Box Buzz rated it 4.5 out of 5 for its power in a small package, and the bolt-removal mode slows the anvil once a nut breaks free, so nothing drops into the engine bay.
It is not built for seized lug nuts or rusted axle nuts; Milwaukee's 1/2-inch high-torque wrench is the tool for those. Budget for a battery if you are new to M18.
At about $140 it is roughly $10 under its 90-day average and within about $5 of its lowest price of the past year.
Pros
- +250 ft-lb from a body under 5 in. long
- +Bolt-removal mode stops nuts from flying off
- +Friction ring makes socket swaps quick
Cons
- −Not enough for seized lug or axle nuts
- −No battery or charger in the box
- Platform
- M18 FUEL
- Tool
- 3/8-in. compact impact wrench
- Batteries
- Not included
- Charger

Milwaukee M18 Tire Inflator 2848-20 (Tool Only)
by Milwaukee
This is the best saving on the page and the easiest gift for any M18 owner with a car. In Pro Tool Reviews' timing test it filled a tire to 36 PSI in 52 seconds, against 1:19 for the Ridgid and 2:19 for the Ryobi, and its auto shutoff stopped within 2 PSI of the target.
It is loud in a closed garage, and a few owners report units that stopped working, so keep track of the return window.
At about $157 it is roughly $33 under its 90-day average. It dropped to $129 in mid-November last year, so it could fall further, but this is already a fair price.
Pros
- +Fastest 18V inflator in Pro Tool Reviews' timing test
- +Auto shutoff lands within 2 PSI of the target
- +Lower-pitched noise than rival inflators
Cons
- −Still loud in a closed garage
- −Some owners report units that stopped working
- −No battery or charger in the box
- Platform
- M18
- Tool
- Tire inflator

Milwaukee M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT XC6.0 Battery 2-Pack
by Milwaukee
More runtime is the gift almost every M18 owner wants, and the HIGH OUTPUT 6.0Ah pack is the one for saws, grinders and the inflator, which draw the most current. Milwaukee rates it for more power and cooler running than its standard XC packs. If you only run drills and drivers, cheaper XC5.0 packs are enough.
Batteries are where Amazon's Milwaukee problem is worst. Counterfeit M18 packs have been reported from marketplace sellers, and this listing was sold by a third-party seller when we checked. Look at the seller's name and rating before you order, and be wary of any price far below everyone else's.
This is not a deal right now. At about $190 it is roughly $20 over its 90-day average, and it sold for about $154 in July.
Pros
- +Built for high-draw tools like the Sawzall
- +Fits every M18 tool on this page
- +Two packs, so one charges while you work
Cons
- −Counterfeit M18 packs circulate through marketplace sellers
- −Heavier than Milwaukee's XC5.0 packs
- Platform
- M18
- Tool
- 6.0Ah battery pack
- Batteries
- 2 in the box
- Charger

Milwaukee M12 FUEL SURGE 1/4-in. Hydraulic Driver Kit 2551-22
by Milwaukee
The SURGE is the driver for indoor work: assembling furniture, hanging cabinets, driving screws while the rest of the house is asleep. Its hydraulic drive measured about 87 dB in Pro Tool Reviews' testing, 7 to 13 dB quieter than other 12V impact drivers. It comes with two batteries and a charger, so it also works as a gift.
It gives up some force to run that quietly. For long lag screws, the standard impact driver in our top kit is the better tool.
It is the only Pick here that Amazon itself was selling when we checked. At $199 it is about $5 over its 90-day average and well above the $150 it sold for in August, so it is not a deal yet.
Pros
- +About 87 dB in Pro Tool Reviews' noise test
- +Quieter than every 18V hydraulic driver in the same test
- +Two batteries, charger and bag in the box
Cons
- −Less force than a standard impact on long lag screws
- −A few owner reports of hydraulic leaks
- Platform
- M12 FUEL
- Tool
- 1/4-in. hydraulic impact driver
- Batteries
- 2 included
- Charger

Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE 32-Piece Impact Bit Set 48-32-4004
by Milwaukee
Not every Milwaukee gift needs a battery. This 32-piece SHOCKWAVE set fits any 1/4-inch hex driver from any brand, and the bits are made for the hammering an impact driver delivers, so it suits a stocking or a starter toolbox. We found no independent durability test; Amazon owners rate it 4.8 out of 5 across more than 350 ratings.
It covers the screw sizes you reach for most, not every size you might need, so it will not replace a full driver set.
At $24.99 it sits at its usual price. It sold for $15 in late March, so wait for a cut if you are buying several.
Pros
- +Fits any 1/4-in. hex driver from any brand
- +Bits rated for impact drivers
- +Compact case that fits a drawer or bag
Cons
- −Covers the common sizes, not a full assortment
- Platform
- Any brand
- Tool
- 32-piece impact bit set
- Batteries
- Not needed
- Charger
- Not needed

How to choose Milwaukee tools this Black Friday
Pick a battery platform first. M12 tools are smaller and lighter and cover most home repairs and car work, while M18 has the power for saws, large bits and high-torque wrenches. The batteries do not cross over, so the platform is the real decision, and every later purchase follows it.
Buy a kit if you own no Milwaukee batteries. The M12 FUEL combo kit, the ratchet kit and the SURGE kit include batteries and a charger. The Sawzall, the compact impact wrench and the inflator are bare tools, which only make sense if you already own M18 packs.
Ignore the list price. Several listings here show list prices two or three times what the tool has sold for all year. Judge a deal by the 90-day average and the 12-month low, which we quote in every Pick.
Check the seller, then compare with Home Depot. Only the SURGE kit was sold by Amazon itself when we checked. Look at the seller's name and rating and the return window on each order, and be most careful with batteries. Home Depot is an authorized dealer, so its tools carry Milwaukee's full warranty, and its buy-a-kit, get-a-free-tool offers can beat an Amazon price once you count the extra tool.
How we chose these milwaukee deals
Every deal on this page was selected and checked by Ed Hollinghurst. We start from products with a strong track record in independent reviews and owner feedback, then compare the current Black Friday price against the product's typical selling price over the past months, not just the inflated list price. A deal only makes the cut if the product is genuinely good and the discount is real.
