Best Sneakers Black Friday Deals 2026

Black Friday sneaker deals from Reebok, New Balance, adidas, ASICS, Converse and Hoka, each checked against its recent Amazon selling price, not its list price.

By Ed HollinghurstUpdated October 28, 2026

Sneakers are a good Black Friday buy because the classics barely change year to year, so a cut price buys the same shoe you would pay full price for in spring. In late October, one Pick was already at its lowest price of the past year: the Reebok Club C 85, about $17 under its 90-day average from Amazon. Most of the others cost what they usually do.

We checked every price against what that shoe sold for on Amazon over the past 90 days and its lowest price of the past year, not the list price. Prices are for the color and size named in each Pick's specs; other sizes and colors can cost more or less.

#1Best overall

Reebok Club C 85

by Reebok

$57$9037% off
View on Amazon

The Club C 85 takes the top spot because it is the most versatile shoe here at the best price we found. It is a plain white leather court sneaker that looks right with jeans, chinos or shorts. RunRepeat scored it 83 out of 100, singled out its grip on wet pavement and found the leather upper durable.

It is a shoe for errands and evenings, not for eight hours on a shop floor; RunRepeat did not rate it for all-day wear. Some owners also find the toe narrow, so if that is you, look at the New Balance 608 V5 below.

At $57 from Amazon, it is about $17 under its 90-day average and at its lowest price of the past year.

Pros

  • Real leather upper that holds up well
  • Excellent grip on wet pavement in RunRepeat's testing
  • Plain, low-key look that suits jeans or chinos
  • Thousands of owner ratings averaging 4.6 stars

Cons

  • Not cushioned enough for a full day on your feet
  • Heavier than the average sneaker
  • Tapered toe box feels narrow to some owners

#2Best budget

New Balance 608 V5

by New Balance

$64.95$79.9919% off
View on Amazon

The 608 V5 is the shoe for nurses, retail staff and anyone who stands all day. RunRepeat rated it 87 out of 100, praising the padding and the grip on both wet and dry floors, and it comes in wide and extra-wide, which only one other Pick here does. Nearly 90,000 Amazon owners have rated it.

It is heavy, and it looks like the practical shoe it is. RunRepeat's abrasion test also wore through the heel lining fast, and owner reports on durability are mixed.

At about $65 from Amazon, it is roughly $7 under its 90-day average. It fell under $50 in early October, so Black Friday could bring it back down.

Pros

  • Thick padding for long shifts on hard floors
  • Good grip on wet and dry floors
  • Wide and extra-wide sizes
  • Toe box earned top marks for durability from RunRepeat

Cons

  • Heavy at 13.6 oz
  • Heel lining wore through quickly in RunRepeat's abrasion test
  • Can rub narrow heels

#3

adidas Samba OG

by adidas

The Samba OG is the shoe most sneaker shoppers are searching for, and it earns its place on build quality. RunRepeat named it its best classic sneaker, scoring it 82 out of 100 and praising its leather and suede upper and low weight. We chose the black-and-gum pair because Amazon sells it directly.

Buy it for looks, not comfort. The fit is slim, the sole is flat and thin, and RunRepeat found it slippery in the wet and quick to wear down underfoot. Anyone with wide feet should skip it.

This is not a deal. At $100 from Amazon, it costs what it has sold for all year, and Amazon showed a delayed ship date when we checked, so gift buyers should look at the delivery estimate before ordering.

Pros

  • Leather and suede upper that wears well
  • Light for a leather sneaker at 12.1 oz
  • Slim, low profile that suits most outfits

Cons

  • Upper barely breathes
  • Slippery on wet ground
  • Soft outsole wears down quickly
  • Slim fit and flat sole make it a poor all-day shoe

#4

ASICS GEL-1130

by ASICS

The GEL-1130 has the same retro-runner look as pricier New Balance pairs, and it tested as one of the most comfortable shoes here. RunRepeat scored it 94 out of 100 and named it its best retro sneaker, finding it comfortable enough to wear all day, stable, and secure at the heel. Owners rate it 4.8 stars, the highest of any Pick.

The toe box is low, so people with tall toes or bunions may feel pressure. It is also stiff for the first few wears.

It is not discounted. The unisex pair we track (men's 8.5, women's 10) cost about $149 from a third-party seller when we checked, close to its 90-day average. It sold for about $120 in August, and that is the price we would wait for.

Pros

  • Comfortable enough to wear all day
  • Stable, with a secure heel
  • Highest owner rating of any Pick at 4.8 stars

Cons

  • Low toe box crowds tall toes
  • Stiff at first

#5Best premium

New Balance Made in USA 990v6

by New Balance

The 990v6 is the one to buy if comfort and build matter more than price. RunRepeat scored it 94 out of 100 and named it its best stability sneaker, finding excellent arch support, an outsole that barely wore in testing, and better breathability than most suede shoes. It is made in the USA and sold in six widths, so it fits feet that nothing else here does.

The toe box mesh is delicate and the shoe is stiff at first. A few owners report soles coming apart, which is worth knowing at this price.

Do not wait for a discount. At about $200 from Amazon, the 990v6 has not sold for less at any point in the past year, and nothing in its price history points to a Black Friday cut.

Pros

  • Excellent arch support and stability
  • Very hard-wearing outsole
  • Breathes well for a suede shoe
  • Six widths and US manufacturing

Cons

  • Toe box mesh is delicate
  • Stiff out of the box
  • A few owners report soles separating

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star High Top

by Converse

The Chuck Taylor High Top is the cheapest classic we would still buy at its usual price. Garage Gym Reviews rated it 4.46 out of 5, liking that it needs no break-in and praising its flat, stable sole for the gym, and Business Insider's white-sneaker guide names it the canvas pick.

There is almost no cushioning or arch support, so it suits short wears, not long walks. It runs narrow through the midfoot, and the canvas wears out before the sole. Several owners report the sole peeling away from the canvas.

At $65 from Amazon, it is at its usual price, and Amazon showed a delayed ship date when we checked. This size and color dropped under $30 in early July, so a Black Friday price has room to beat $65.

Pros

  • No break-in period
  • Flat, stable sole that works for lifting
  • Unisex sizing in a look that never dates

Cons

  • Almost no cushioning or arch support
  • Narrow through the midfoot
  • Canvas wears through before the sole
  • Some owners report the sole peeling away

#7

Hoka Clifton 10

by Hoka

The Clifton 10 is the pick for long walks and days on your feet when padding matters most. RunRepeat scored it 86 out of 100, finding the thick midsole kind to joints and the toe box roomier than most. Hoka has since released the Clifton 11, so the 10 is last year's model.

Its foam is older than what Hoka uses in its newest shoes, and some owners report the pair wearing out within a few months.

We would not buy it now. A third-party seller had it at nearly $200 when we checked, about $16 above its 90-day average and roughly $85 more than its February low of about $114. A last-generation shoe only makes sense at a real discount, so wait.

Pros

  • Thick midsole that softens every step
  • Roomier toe box than most sneakers
  • Light for its cushioning at 9.7 oz

Cons

  • Midsole foam is older than in Hoka's newest models
  • Heavier than the Clifton 9
  • Some owners report wear within a few months

How to choose sneakers this Black Friday

Decide how long you will be on your feet. The Club C 85, Samba OG and Chuck Taylor are flat and firm, fine for a few hours but tiring over a full day. For long shifts or a lot of walking, choose the 608 V5, GEL-1130, 990v6 or Clifton 10.

Check the width before the style. The 608 V5 comes in wide and extra-wide, the 990v6 in six widths, and the Clifton 10 has a roomy toe box. The Samba OG fits slim, and some owners find the Club C and Chuck Taylor narrow.

Price your own size and color. Each size and color on Amazon has its own price and sometimes its own seller. We checked the one named in each Pick's specs, so confirm the price after you select yours.

Ignore the list price. The Club C shows a $90 list price but has averaged about $74 over the past 90 days, so the real saving is about $17, not $33. Judge a deal by the recent average and 12-month low we quote in every Pick.

Check the seller and the return date. The GEL-1130 and Clifton 10 were sold by third-party sellers when we checked. Amazon usually extends returns over the holidays, but confirm the date on your order page and try shoes on indoors first.

Sneakers Black Friday FAQ

When do Black Friday sneaker deals start, and do they last through Cyber Monday?

A few have started. When we checked in late October, the Reebok Club C 85 and New Balance 608 V5 were already below their 90-day averages, while the other Picks sat at or above their usual prices. Black Friday is November 27 and Cyber Monday is November 30 this year. Each Pick shows when we last checked its price.

Is Black Friday the cheapest time of year to buy sneakers?

Not always. The Converse Chuck Taylor High Top we track dropped under $30 in early July, the Hoka Clifton 10 sold for about $114 in February, and the New Balance 608 V5 fell under $50 in early October. A Black Friday price has to beat those lows to be the best of the year, so compare it with the 12-month low we quote in each Pick.

Why does the Amazon price change when I pick a different size or color?

Because each size and color is a separate product on Amazon, with its own stock, sellers and price. We checked one size and color for each Pick, listed in its specs. Your size may cost more or less, and may come from a different seller, so check the price and seller after you select it.

Does the adidas Samba OG ever go on sale for Black Friday?

Rarely on Amazon. The black-and-gum Samba OG sold by Amazon has not dropped below $100 in the past year, so a Black Friday cut would be unusual. If the Samba is the shoe you want, buy it at that price rather than waiting for a discount that may not come.

Should I buy the Hoka Clifton 10 on sale or pay more for the Clifton 11?

Buy the Clifton 10 only when it costs clearly less than the Clifton 11. Hoka has replaced it, so the 10's appeal is the discount, and it sold for about $114 in February. When we checked, the pair we track cost nearly $200 from a third-party seller, which is no reason to choose the older shoe.

Do these sneakers run true to size, and which ones suit wide feet?

Length complaints are few for most of these Picks; width is the bigger issue. The New Balance 608 V5 comes in wide and extra-wide, and the 990v6 in six widths. The Hoka Clifton 10 has a roomier toe box than most. The adidas Samba OG fits slim, and some owners find the Reebok Club C 85 and Converse Chuck Taylor narrow, so wide feet should start with the New Balance pair.

Can I return sneakers bought on Amazon over the holidays if they don't fit?

Usually, yes. In past years, including 2025, Amazon let most items bought between November 1 and December 31 go back until January 31. Confirm the return date on your order page after you buy, and try the shoes on indoors first so they stay in returnable condition.

Can I run or lift weights in lifestyle sneakers like the Samba or Club C?

Lifting, yes, if the sole is flat: Garage Gym Reviews, which tests shoes for the gym, praised the Chuck Taylor's flat, stable sole. Running, no. RunRepeat judged neither the Samba OG nor the Club C 85 fit for a full day of wear, let alone a run. For long walks, choose the Hoka Clifton 10.

How we chose these sneakers deals

Every deal on this page was selected and checked by Ed Hollinghurst. We start from products with a strong track record in independent reviews and owner feedback, then compare the current Black Friday price against the product's typical selling price over the past months, not just the inflated list price. A deal only makes the cut if the product is genuinely good and the discount is real.
